We began our hike in a beautiful town of Castleton:

We found ourselves in the charming Cave Dale with a view on Peveril Castle (closed due to pandemic) and sheep grazing on the slopes of the valley.

...until we reached the Winnats Pass, a limestone gorge surrounded by splendid high ridges.

When we approached Mam Tor, 517 metres above the sea level peak, we noticed many paragliders, using the hill as a start base to lift up in the air.

Mam Tor means "mother hill" - this is because of frequent landslips on its eastern face that resulted in multitude of mini hills beneath it.

After a short break at the top, we followed the Great Ridge path, passing Back Tor and finally climbing the Lose Hill, where we admired gorgeous view on surrounding areas.
