Hello, I'm so happy you would like to get to know me better!

 

My name is Ola, a human behind Timrill Potography.  I'm a Polish wedding and portrait photographer currently based in Leicester, UK. 1,5 year ago to be with my fiance :)

I come from a beautiful city of Wroclaw, Lower Silesia capital city, where I spent most of my life. A couple of years ago I fulfiled one of my greatest dreams and I moved to the Polish countryside. Since then I live at the borders of a natural reserve, where calm beech woods, bubbling streams, boundless fields and tiny, cosy villages are my everydayness. This is my home, where I will soon return. At the moment I live and photograph in UK, where I moved 1,5 year ago to be with my better half :)

Photography - like writing, music and dancing before - came to me one day and stayed for good, kindling a vast passion inside my heart. First I learned on my own, then I wanted to find out more, so I started studying photography at the Creating Arts Centre in my home city, Wroclaw. I graduated with a diploma in June 2018.

​

The roots of my photography lay in capturing nature, my love since childhood. It came into being among wild flowers and lichens, in the deep forests, within ragged crests and abysses of my beloved Tatra Mountains, on gentle slopes of Lower Silesia mountains, at the Baltic Seaside and by the magic Hancza River, where I used to canoe a lot. Anywhere my heart called me, my camera was with me as my faithful companion! After some time I fell in love with taking portraits of people and capturing beautiful and important moments of their life. It felt to me unusually good, like I have found myself in the right place at last, so I decided to transform my passion into my work. Into work, which bestows people with the most extraordinary gift - a real possibility to travel back in time, to experience once again beautiful moments along with sounds, smells and emotions associated to them.

My Couples describe me as a very friendly, open and helpful person with the ability to put you at ease so you can feel relaxed in front of my camera. During the wedding I work tirelessly all day from preparations until evening dances. I love seeing you happy with results of my efforts! I know the value of amazing photographs showing one of the most important days of your life, so I always try to help and support you as best as I can. I'm here for you and I would love to meet you over a cup of tea or coffee and answer all the questions that you have :)
